Yes, we repair wood rot prior to painting. If there is any wood rot found at the time of an estimate this will be incorporated and noted in the price.
Upon arrival, our crew leaders will do a thorough inspection as well. If any additional wood rot is found, we will notify you right away to see how you would like to proceed.

All ground areas where the painting is in progress will be protected using drop cloths. Any patio furniture or furniture on the ground level will either be moved out of the way or covered using drop cloths.

While there are many factors that can affect how long a quality paint job should last, the usual timeline is 5-7 years. The main factor in this will be the quality of the paint used as well as the quality of the craftsman who applies the paint.

There is not much you need to do to prepare for exterior painting. We will move all furniture off decks and patios. We do ask for windows to be left unlocked if we are painting windows as well as doors.

We typically use Sherwin Williams and Benjamin Moore products.

Typically, depending on the size of the project and the scope of work, we will send a crew of 3-4 workers. If we are power washing prior to painting, you can expect 1-2 workers.

That is a personal preference, but not required. Majority of the time customers are not home while the project is in progress. We will accommodate your schedule accordingly and make arrangements prior to the start date for access to your home.

Many factors can go into the process of choosing a paint color, from different settings of light in your home, to general opinions of different colors. We strongly suggest to take advantage of working with our certified interior designer as part of our complimentary color consultation service. This can make the process very painless.

All nail pops, settlement cracks, and major imperfections will be repaired and sanded prior to painting. Lights will not be used to illuminate walls prior to painting. All repairs will be done according to PDCA standards.
